It says in the Sunday papers that the best way to remember that i am "happy" is to keep a weekly list of things/events/whatever - for which I am grateful. This sunflower is one, it reminds me to be persistent, even when it hardly rains.
Aren't sunflowers magnicent and yet so like a childish drawing. I remember seeing some growing between the paving flagstones in NZ and in Oz we grew Jerusalem Artichokes along the back fence which look the same and are the same family but provide a vegetable! Cheers Gillian
